St. James School for Little Folks accepts children ages 1 to 5 years of age. One and two year olds are not required
to be potty-trained prior to starting school. However, they must be completely trained before moving into a three year old
classroom.
Due to building limitations, our 12 month old students must be able to walk alone, drink from a regular cup and eat normal
table food. Sippy Cups and pacifiers are not allowed in the classroom. This policy helps insure the health, safety, and
well-being of all our students by reducing germ swapping and sharing of illnesses through these items.
Parents are encouraged to visit the center with their child prior to enrolling their child at our facility. To register your child for enrollment, a
$50.00 non-refundable fee is required with completion of the parent contract.
Should we not have current openings or your child is under age, we would be happy to place you on our waiting list.
This list is given first priority when spaces become available. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you consider placing
your child on our wait list especially if they are under one year of age.
